  • People in real life don’t know shit about the government or anything that’s going on but they all know the latest tv commercials.

    Meanwhile I’m sure most of you reading this are like “who watches tv to see the commercials?!” Yea. They do.

  • So, and I’m not at all arguing for them here let me be clear, but things like Reddit being dragged in the media for that jailbait subreddit and the Covid stuff causing lawmakers to basically say “hey if you keep allowing disinformation we are going to have to regulate it” is what they mean by leftist bias.

    I was reading yarvins bs the other day and that basically sums up the thinking.

  • Let’s be really honest about this. There are town meetings at least monthly. Political parties always have something going on. There’s no way Netflix originals, hawk tuah podcasts, and countless You-Tube channels about eating various chips and playing video games are capable of existing if no one has free time.

    I can easily observe the vast majority of people with cars, money, and time choosing to sit at home doing nothing at all.

    So little people show up to these things you actually can make a small impact locally.

  • Whatever the Fed is now is going to be an existential threat to many people if it isn’t already. Governors will start picking sides I think. The Illinois governor made a pretty bold statement today.

    We have a surveillance state, though, and they control it and the narrative.

    People will need to get it together fast.
