The real problem is people needing a car in the first place. This woman does the bidding of people who only care about themselves, but she isn't creating the deeper problem.

Yeah I think they want the front end experience to be as much like what we have now, but the inner workings of the digital euro (or any CBDC) is very different compared to what we have now.

Wait what happened first I'm confused. There was an event, then 5 hours after there was the 'buy now' tweet and then one hour later there was the 'nvm the tariffs' announcement?

Crypto coins are a digital currency just like the digital euro is, but there is a big difference in how they are managed. I don't know enough to explain the difference in details but a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) doesn't necessarily have a Blockchain behind it and the coins aren't mined like the bitcoins are for example. The big win is you will no longer need a 3rd party for moving the money. If you now move money on your account to my account our banks need another company (likely either visa or MasterCard) to 'verify' that the money actually moves from a to b or something like that. Maybe I should expand my definition of free then. I know low cost is not the same as low value, but in my mind free is something that comes without giving anything in return. If something has high value, you're not likely to give it away without getting something in return. So I think my opinion has to do with not appreciating something because you call it free, but I guess that's just me.

I expect them to get around this tarrif, but I have no clue how hard that will be for them. They also managed to stock up on cash in Ireland because they didn't want to move it to the US and that didn't seem to hurt them.

If they say free public transport while it's payed for by taxes than I'd say you're right about healthcare being free as well. Glad we have different words to describe things that are freely available vs available at no extra cost vs actually free (like that discarded chair by the side of the road). Still feels disrespectful to me to call healthcare and education free tbh.

His are made by Shokz, had to look it up online for the spelling, and they're apparently Japanese. Maybe there is also something similar that is European, but he has ran marathons and I believe he usually wears them his entire run. It's not something we talk about that often but I remember he told me just after got them he was really happy with them because the wired in-ears he had stayed in place only until his ears got sweaty. I think he spend about €100 on them or something. I don't think this can beat a similarly priced headphone that is over- or on ear when it comes to the audio quality and immersion to be fair, also no microphone if I remember correctly.
