Even better. It’s the fediverses Facebook moment.
Not as many grassroots advocates. Even on the Reddit alternative sub the consensus isn’t lemmy somehow.
It’s a pretty popular page. Think they run the one on bsky too.
I get the impression they aren’t native English speakers though.
We kicked his maw and her shitey bird nest of a hairdo out well before then.
Yes it was satire.
They both suck.
Long live Stremio.
I have no need for third party apps.
For anything beyond texting or scrolling, I have a desktop.
Defying mask mandates wasn’t due to a ‘love for freedom’ but due to delusions and selfishness.
Scots - I like fannybaws.
(Vagina testicles)
I see, thanks for the explanation.
I take it there’s not an app that just shows the full fediverse?
Doesn’t piefed federate to all of lemmy tho?
So they could stay in power?
They stole ‘libertarian’ too, used to mean anarchist.
Anti-statists.
Anarchism is explicitly anti-capitalist.
e/acc or technofascists
That isn't really happening at a scale you need to be worried about. They are net contributors to your economy and commit crimes at lower rates.
The only down side is some wage suppression in low-skilled areas like picking fruit.
Illegal immigrants are still immigrants dumbass
Scotland/Ireland doesn’t seem to be shifting right! Not like elsewhere anyway.
We have a weird dynamic in Glasgow where even our football hooligans are pro-Palestine and even showed up anti-blm marches (and chased them away).
Several unis here, lots of Serbians, Italians, Spaniards in the faculty and is more diverse than many of the English towns that rioted.
No riots here, we were doing this instead.
Pay will probably be shite comparatively and the weather is miserable but can’t fault it otherwise
Took me a while but I found what I was thinking of.
It was the Fired FEC head
But it wasn't because she was fired they didn't go forward, it's because the board is 3/3 dem/rep so a republican would need to 'flip'
Asked by Alicia Menendez, "What is most alarming to you?" she replied, "Well, I can't talk about anything that would be currently before the commission by law, complaints that are filed and any investigatory action remains confidential until the cases are closed."
She then continued. "But I can tell you that in the past we have had 63 separate complaints filed against the president or his political committees –– and not all complaints are well-founded not all complaints are worth the agency's time to pursue. But our nonpartisan professional staff has advocated that we pursue 31 of those cases and, in not a single one, did we get four votes to move forward."
This is one of the things they talked about in the election interference hearings in December too
“Almost every matter that the FEC has not pursued is associated with the former president [Trump]” (Rep Torres, about 57minutes in)
