I'm mostly coming here for you. There isn't really enough traffic to justify using it the way I would Reddit, but you post this series here and I like it

You'd be surprised how fast and easy to learn TTRPGs can be. Compared to what's available, DnD 5e is actually on the crunchier side (upper mid range overall)

5e is actually on the high end of medium crunch. That's not a bad thing though. The game mostly works and it is fun, but it does have its rough spots. I agree with you about not needing to change it though

Even totally blind people can usually detect light as painful, slightly less dark darkness. That's actually why so many wear dark sunglasses

This sounds good to me. I'm subscribed to c/rpgmemes which is run by the the old mod team of r/dndmemes but I'm also subscribed to c/dndmemes which is apparently run by people who wanted something like r/dndmemes. A short, simple explanation: it's kinda like a classic fantasy book except you make all of the decisions for one character. The DM isn't quite the same as an author because he mostly controls how the world reacts to the players and the events that happen as you travel, but the players are all essentially the protagonists of the story

Whenever there's a chance for failure, you roll dice to see if you succeed. Some characters are better at certain actions than others are so the game works best when the players cooperate

There's also a tactical aspect and some resource management to the game, but you can be eased into that without issues

Good choices. Those are pretty much the only stocks you ever need. Decent flavor variety and a vegetarian option. I prefer to make my own though

Idk, I don't even pay that much for kosher food and the smallest and cheapest kosher burger I've ever seen cost $5 with $10 being closer to the average

Sounds good to me. My only real complaint about solar panels is the space they occupy. That complaint goes away if that space can also be used for crops. It's a win/win
