  • I've told Mr Woof we can go for a walk at first light. He's using puppy dog eyes on me to try to negotiate an earlier start.

Edit: to correct accidental naming of RustyDog as Mr Wood. Which sounds odd and slightly kinky 🤣

  • Came home to THIS peeping Tom

He’s lucky that he’s very good at his job and I respect his work.

  • oh jeez

    massive argument with mum.

After what I've seen she can't continue driving she's going hurt someone or herself or worse and my advice is falling on deaf ears and stripping independence. hrmm

and thank you to all for the advice yesterday now is the pointy end.

  • Office rant. If you're gonna sit next to me and cough every 30 seconds then please just go tf home.

Also, someone did a big poo in the ladies and it's stinking the whole place. I don't like this one bit. That is all.

  • I've had vertigo from inner ear damage. I use Epply exercises to re-orient my balance.

Treatment depends on the cause of your vertigo. See a doc.

    • If this is in response to my vertigo comments thank you. It's a very bizarre sensation to have for an extended period.

      • hugs, vertigo is dreadful

try the Epply exercises , you can find them on line and can do them on your own. No harm in trying them first, they may work.

  • Bugger looks like I imported a head cold from OS.

Also missing the heated toilet seat I had for the last week.

  • On the way home, someone got on the bus wearing a sign around their neck that said, "Homophobia is not a scientific phobia." When we got off the bus my kids asked me to explain it. I said, well, to the best of my knowledge, a phobia is when you have a physical fear response to something. What happens when we're scared? Our heart can start racing, we might start sweating, pupils dilate, we might start shaking, that kind of thing. Homophobia is a bullshit made up phobia that doesn't trigger these physical responses. By the way, falling in love can trigger a similar physical response.

If anyone knows the sign-wearing person, tell them my daughter liked their outfit.

    • I think internalised homophobia might be classified as scientific but I'm splitting hairs and love the person for wearing it.

  • I should probably drop a review for Burger king fries I had at CGK jakarta airport.

The dream was to compare KFC but had to settle for jackas..

They weren't very good. and for 38000IDR (about $3.80) I'm starting to wonder if they gave me a small instead of a large as some sort of 'in' joke.

    2/10.

The truffle fries with a triumvirate of dipping sauces at the hotel however.. for an inflated hotel price of $9, were bomb.

    9/10 for those.

  • Still haven't woken up properly, nor have I emerged from the oodie knockoff except for a quick change from pjs to clothes.
Thank God (Gouda?) I did the shopping yesterday.

    • I think oodie knockoff may be the superior over size hoodie

oodies are so bulky movement is difficult

other oodies maybe easier to wear and move in

  • G'day! Felt a bit guilty about not doing my workout yesterday on account of being absolutely stuffed from work and crashing early. Woke up to do it this morning and discovered that yesterday was a scheduled rest day! So it's day 4 and I've done my exercises. I feel different in a way I can't put my finger on, sort of a teensy bit fitter. Probably psychosomatic but it works for me!

Taking the Mini Peelers to Melbourne Central today, looks like a nice one out there!

    • You do get improvements very quickly when you first start an exercise program - a lot of it is your muscles learning to work together and coordinate better. The other part of improvement is actual muscle development, and you will often notice that most after a rest day. When you exercise you actually damage and break down your muscles a bit, and the body responds by rebuilding them better than before. So the rest is vital periodically to make sure your body has the capacity to rebuild.

  • Can proudly proclaim that whilst I still hold out the tiniest hope of hearing from my ex, I know now that I couldn't have a relationship with them unless they owned their behaviour like I have reflected on my own and changed. I'm a completely different person now and I know what I want and don't want and how I should be treated.

Edit for context; what I'm trying to say is, I have this tiny hope, but when I have the thought I then realise I don't want to get back together with my ex and that I've come to that realisation. In saying that I want ownership of behaviour and change in behaviour I'm setting a boundary because I don't see that happening and it's stands I've now set. I see now that I wasn't clear in this. Lol.

  • Naughty Gladys has been found to be handing out funds whilst romping with her boyfriend. Tsk tsk

    • I remember when their relationship story broke and thought to myself 'cheese sauce who the fuck would want to wake up to that'.

edit: to clarify talkin' about Daz

      • Maybe they're both into some really kinky shit. Good on them for finding each other.

At the same time, fuck them for breaching public trust and doling out public funds to pet projects.

      • Hey Gladys can you sling us a few pineapples for a new clay shooting range and a conservatory. By the way what's for breakfast

  • Surprisingly unpopular opinion in my household, I think St Patrick's Day should be a VIC holiday.

I just reckon enough people casually follow it, so it would be a better holiday than some of our others. The main issue is the placing of it.

  • New movie for today was Grey Owl. I read this guy's books last year and read some bios too. Sadly the movie was a disappointment. Just a run of the mill bio. He is an unusual adult with skills and an interest who becomes a writer. The only thing that makes him different to other writers about nature and indigenous peoples is he pretended he was one. That is all. It could have been a good movie, spend time on his childhood and his beginnings. On the secret , have him hunted down by a journalist. Then public reaction and his legacy. ( and it's a good legacy, he helped start the environmental movement in Canada ) Maybe 2.5 hobbits out 5 and nice to see something that's not a marvel movie.

  • I went into centrecom to get one tube of thermal paste. I assumed all would be well since I click and collected it.

All was not well. I spent an hour and a half in there and I now have 4 more Ethernet cables, a new USB stick I didn't need and yet another can of air duster

Edit: and I almost bought a new ethernet switch, even though I already have 3 I'm not even currently using

    • That's a good eel I wouldn't think twice of that.

    • I see you shop the same way I do. Go in for 1 thing and leave with a heap of stuff you ‘didn’t know you needed’

      • I am same. This is why I do not browse.

Also, I saw the components to make some really cool dinosaur earrings but I have so many earrings already. 🤓
