  Ah yes the Catch 22 of Lemmy. The only way to get activity is to already have it.
- I mean... Are we against bots xposting content from reddit that bad?

  I’ve been missing my towns local communities but not enough to visit Reddit. I’d be really happy if they were cross-posted to Lemmy, even if that means there would be no one to see anything I post

  Is there a reason to transfer it, really? Just create a new one on another instance. I mean, here's my first account: https://feddit.org/u/Tuuktuuk , because I didn't know about Lemmy when I joined it, but then figured that a German-language instance is a bit of a bad idea for a Finn. And now I'm on Sopuli.
  Is there something about your current account thar really requires you to transfer the account? (And, for what I know: I don't think there is a transfer functionality of any kind.)

Guess I'm the idiot. What's wrong with the picture? Looks like their boat was wrecked and they're trying to get it on the beach.
- it's going to roll over when a couple good waves hit it. plus their lines are so loose, the boat moving could trap someone with a line that suddenly goes tight with all the weight of the boat. if their not trying to make it pointed at the beach fore or aft, they probably have a bad day
  
  By the tension on the line, it looks like they're ready to yank it straight, perpendicular to the shore. 🤷🏻
