I smell money laundering

I had to get fingerprinted for work a while back, on cards, before they were done digitally. I show up at one of the addresses that provides this service and it’s a bail bondsman. However, they were also selling postcards, jewelry, Avon, & Beanie Babies.

This, however, easily eclipses that establishment.

That's where I'd go if I'm looking for drugs.

Here in town, there's a shop with bingo and lottery and tabacco, and also where you fetch your packages when they couldn't be delivered. So, all the reasons why I would never visit this store, and also the reason why I have to visit it.

As someone who went to this building, do not talk with the workers playing D&D near the crown jewels at the bakery in the homeless shelter.

Do they have a full-service discount?
Say, some underground miner, pale, after several years strikes it rich, surfaces, wants to notarize a Title Transfer of Large Sum to his bank, everything he owns is dirty, needs to burry and dispose of something across the lake, and later maybe flaunt a little good fortune with the local single debutante ladies in a good ol' fashion friendly game of bingo?

ETA- there was also a "curio shop" down the street, but they never sold a curio. Run by two ancient Mafia guys. They did sell cigarettes, cigars, soda, and in back they ran illegal gambling card games, mostly with other really old men, and also, as I found out, anything you needed done, legal or not, if they could do it, they would. Literally an all purpose store. I went there when I bought a motorcycle, had given the guy the money but he didn't sign the title, and disappeared, to ask what to do, they said "bring the title, Frank is a notary!" Um, ok. How much? "Nothing, we do this for you, a favor, yes?"

What a world it was back then, I do think things are better now, it was very violent here and is not anymore, but I do kinda miss the disorganization and the way the world was disconnected so you could disappear, go somewhere else and be someone else, even if I didn't personally want to do that. Not sure what to call it but it was sort of a reassuring feeling.

This has gotta be up around Tahoe somewhere. This is exactly the shit small tourist town residents end up doing. Different hats for different seasons, or so I've been told.

For a second, I thought the fish was smoking and thought that there was an eighth business service.

Laundromat, Tanning, Notary, Bingo, Small Money Loans or Paycheck Advance, either Fishing Gear or Caught Fish, and Canoe Rentals.
