Okay, I'll ask the obvious. Why?
- epilepsy monitoring unit

I just spent a few days sitting with my FIL in hospital. We binged Gunsmoke. I am a reluctant fan of Festus now.
do they have you scheduled for any sight-seeing like CT or MRI scans?
can you order UberEats to your room? I watched them come and go frequently and wondered if it was for employees, inmates, or both
do you ask all the nurses for crunchy ice?
have you asked that one nurse for a bed bath?
are most of the nurses pregnant like they were at my hospital? Wtf is in the water?!

  I give myself washcloth baths in the bathroom ; it's ok.
  Ha, they all have kids, idk if they are pregnant. A lot have those fancy flag pins now, and it's a metro hospital so maybe pregnancy is going out of style.

- idk but I'd like one at home ; it's electric

What are you going to do today?
- suffer and hopefully talk to real doctors

- ha, yeah, it all sounds good on the menu but is bad irl

What do you do to keep yourself entertained?
- surprisingly no need, things are very busy.
  Especially since I'm not allowed to go to the ,🚽 by myself
  
  Who helps you go pee and do you think they enjoy it?

Can you at least walk around the cospital / move in a wheelchair or are you bedridden?
- can't even go to the 🚽 alone
  
  so not strict bed rest?
  do you have to use a bedpan, or can you go to use the toilet?

  my own trail mix I brought
  have mostly stuck to raisin brand on the menu, out of fear.
  the menu name sound hilariously gourmet, bc the food is small and bad.

what's your job and family situation? how will missing a week affect things
- lost both jobs bc of this condotion. :-/
  home is about 90 mins away, so wife needs to work since she is only income earner now.
  working on resume in hopes of health stability. trying to get into teaching either computers, psychology or english at any level, but ideally college.

What's your take on how car dependance has influenced North American culture and is there a way of out?

- I actually don't have strong attachment to food, but raw peach and/ or lemon, ice tea is amazing , especially with boba.
  American's shaped car culture imo, not the other way around. It's about individualism, power, and control I think. I'd love to see the states embrace trains, but it' not going to happen. I'm not a fan of AI but the way forward is probably self-driving renewable energy cars ; after Trump.
  Favorite animal is jellyfish. Life would be much easier if I could just be one.

Why do you have to be in bed and not allowed to move around with the monitoring attached?

- oddly enough, 'I, Robot' was the first thing on the TV.

Do you already have a nurse you hate?
- not here. but there was a resident doctor whom I really hated: looked 18, acted like he was 40, mind of a 4 year old. They never should of let him graduate high school.

What does it cost per day? How much of it do you pay?
- I think its like 10k total, I pay 0 bc already met deductible 😎

What are you reading/watching/playing?
- surprisingly busy with nurses & keeping a log, but saw iRobot and Book of Eily back to back on AMC
  first movie was pretty good, bc I'm a big Philip K Dick fan, second movie was hilariously bad.

Did Epstein kill himself?
- ha. I don't care about that news story. more concerned about ww3 and cost of living.
  
  Interestingly, if the Epstein thing brings Trump to fall, WW3 might happen later and the cost of living might go down for you. You're murican, right?
