Always with those memes too: Pepe, wojacks, chad side profile (don’t know what it’s called), every time I see a meme using those characters I reflexively hesitate to engage due to how they’ve been co-opted by the right.
- They're from 4chan, they were never not reactionary. The side profile thing in particular came from racist feuding between northern european white supremacists and greek white supremacists.
  
  Was Pepe a 4chan thing? I thought the creator was a normal person that was saddened by the racist meaning his frog had gained. I remember seeing shit about it online.
