I wish my wife hadn't taught our kid the word "hangry", now they just associate hunger with anger reflexively and so the only way to keep the peace is to chase him around proffering morsels like an overeager pet owner.
I've just recently started on meds and now not eating is a significantly more common problem, worst of all the shakes are gone too so I keep going all day on nothing.
I set times of the day I have to eat by. If my lunch time limit has come and I haven't eaten yet, I gotta stop and eat. Makes me be aware of what time it is too, so double good. Last night, I had no intention of eating because the kitchen was busy and my stomach was hurting, but I had promised myself I would eat no matter what, so I got take-out.
Also, because I'm pretty out of it for a bit after eating, it makes me divide my day into smaller sections so I can plan better.
Eat more starchy foods, seeds, nuts in the morning (like oatmeal) and avoid refined sugars and fat. While it's easy to treat hypoglycemia with sugar, the point is to prevent it.
I hope you are joking: I don't think anyone is trying to make you feel attacked. More like, "Oh good, this isn't just a me thing." Which is kind of weird because I find solace in other people also struggling? Anyway, hope you have a nice day.
