I'm just going to recommend three books with "hollow" in the title.

Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton

S.T., a domesticated crow, is a bird of simple pleasures: hanging out with his owner Big Jim, trading insults with Seattle's wild crows (i.e. "those idiots"), and enjoying the finest food humankind has to offer: Cheetos ®.

As they brush against the supernatural they realize that the story they've been told about their past is unraveling and the world that returned them seemingly unharmed ten years ago, might just be calling them home.

Of course not, but just because something's not dangerous doesn't make it appropriate for children. Commenters are informing me that there are PG drag shows, which I was unaware of. I guess I've never lived in an area that had them.

I do shipping fulfillment for my brother's business and at least 60% of the boxes I use are just reused from stuff getting mailed to us. I reuse all kind of stuff for packing material, especially xmas/birthday wrapping paper.

Wow this is the exact opposite of my experience. Also my mom just got officially diagnosed adhd and the whole reason she wanted to get seen was for food addiction. I guess it's all about extremes.

Captain America - the embodiment of America being the world's police force

This is the exact opposite of Captain America. He defies the government when they try to tell him what to do rather than use his own moral judgment. There were two entire movies about it.

Spiderman, meanwhile, is a street level hero who sticks up for the poor people that cops couldn't give less of a shit about.

It seems like you're making assumptions based on the notion that if corporations allow it to get made, the story must support them somehow. Rather than that corporations don't care about the story because it lines their pockets in the short term, and they know no one's going to do anything about it anyway.

I do pants for a week, but shirts are one day per use thanks to sweat.
