This is a really good read on these types of situations. He's a white guy and he thought that was enough. that means the rules don't apply to him. I think as we are trying to figure these people out we sometimes overcomplicate it and a lot of the times the reasons are really quite simple. Just like them.
Wow that is truly blowing my mind lol I guess I forgot that they use different breeds for whole chickens which run smaller. And the woody breast thing is a symptom of the birds getting huge really fast so I should have inferred they were getting that big but it's just like tripping me out. Like a dinosaur chicken lol. Chicken sourcing is tough right now, especially if purchasing from a farm is out of the question, and unfortunately, for most it is. Glad you rescued that one! Good luck out there!

All my blinds and curtains are open during the day and if weather permits the windows are open too. After sundown, we prefer a slightly lower light, not so much that our eyes are straining, but all of our light is soft white and we rarely turn on every light source.
I'm in San Diego and in the circles I run in anti vaccine sentiment is criticized ruthlessly and without hesitancy. Not saying that is the case all over the city, but everytime it gets brought up its immediately met with disdain. This is both at work and socially.

Do you all remember how quickly they backed down as soon as ashley babbit was shot? (yes I know I spelled it wrong, I don't care to honor that piece of trash). A whole crowd of these fuckers. and presumably the most rabid of them, their infantry if you will. These are the cultists who spent money, time, and energy to be there. So they are also the ones with means. Also, presumably a bunch of them were carrying concealed weapons. Then one person gets shot and the entire thing crumbles. Cowards. Through and through cowards. And they think they can win a war?
Additionally, all the mental health impacts. Our children are afraid to go to school, a place they are legally bound to be, because of gun violence.
