It's funny I've lived with these all my life without even considering it 😅 Even public bathrooms which have to accommodate all kinds of people and ungodly usage scenarios commonly have those here. I've never heard stories of it being a problem ever.

However, these are usually mounted in solid brick or concrete walls, so that's probably why it works here
