  • I don't like foreign control of Canadian resources either, but the pipeline harming salmon parts are misleading. You wouldn't believe how much environmental consideration is taken building pipeline in Canada.I've been on projects where environmental group was removing and marking riverbed rocks (by the thousands) and making a map from this, just so that each rock would be returned to the exact place it was taken from when the river is put back together after laying pipe through.Larger river systems are typically bored under to avoid upsetting the river at all.Pipeline construction is not allowed disturb the river while there is any fish species "run" occuring at all. Pipeline construction stops for obvious migrations like Elk, Wolves etc., and crossing are required every couple kms.But I've even been on projects where we were completely shut down for frog migration. No soils can be mixed and are kept in different spill piles for when backfilling.Invasive species are handled, vehicle tires and tracks are sprayed.. And much more.I think most Canadians would find a lot more care is taken than the eco-warrior media would suggest.Sure it "disturbs" the environment like anything humans do, does. But it's quite temporary. In fact because it's not a road, there's less long term impact. Road traffic kills how many animals and butterfly and bird every year?

  • Fuck Disney. Boycott.

  • "I'm done responding.."

    Thanks.

  • I mean, nice quote.. I like it. But Steve's a comedian.OR, If the pilot was a kid you'd say the authority that gave that kid a pilot's license without checking his age is the one who fucked up.

  • It's spelled, I N C E L influencers.Ftfy

  • This is about age restriction which is entirely the same. You can stop commenting now because I don't think you're following along.

  • Of course they will get exposed to things over time and kids will always work to circumvent their parents restrictions. But we got to make them work for it. It shouldn't be easy. Lol

  • If you don't know the answer to that then you're not a parent are you?

  • You don't say?

  • You taking it a little far I think there. Education into foreign culture can be provided by books.Anyway, there are things that children should not be allowed to have access to. And that access has always been partially governed by parents and partially governed by Society. Now when I was a kid my dad could take me to an R-rated movie and that's fine. But no parent, no admission. When you're there in person someone can look at you and make a judgment of your age or they can ID you. That's not possible using the internet without people saying it's too invasive. So we need some kind of solution which provides enough anonymity while also being able to absolutely confirm you are above certain age.

  • Yeah I agree to more anonymous it could be, the better. Not sure how possible that is though.-EDIT.... at least without losing anonymity.

  • No that's not how the world works. All things are not for everybody. Ask any parent. Your kids do not get to run free and do whatever they want.

  • Nope. Its already been tried. The internet is too ubiquitous. And that's like saying, all liquor stores should not require ID, and it's the parents fault if an underage kid acquires some booze.Silly.

  • Donald?

  • That's why we need a novel solution.

  • The "thing" is how to age gate materials on the internet. I said I'm up for a solution. What's yours?

  • They ID at the liquor store too.Go ahead and give a better solution. I'm up for it.

  • Well to be fair, It's at least a little gay.
