Hi! I am a Software Developer/DevOps Engineer with a side hobby of 3d printing and self hosting solutions for my family. I enjoy everything tech, and automation.
At this point I think even if he's proven in court a traitor he would still get votes. No matter the outcome this election year, the country is going to be in a crazy amount of turmoil
Fucking this, I hate having to come into work and coworkers are all coughing and sneezing with "just a cold". Have we learned nothing!?
I installed mine during COVID lockdowns - wife got one as a gift for baby shower and we never used it but 2 years later I broke it out during the dark times for toilet paper and it saved our ass, literally. Definitely the best improvement ever, yet some people do feel weird about them, like middle schooler homophobia or some shit
Pretty sure English class is for daily life, so we don't revert to grunting cave people. This sentiment is what fuels poor Grammer, and it doesn't really take too much brain power to write/say things correctly
Those are shit mechanics who are just trying to steal as much money as they can. I would avoid them and call them out whenever possible. I've had some good mechanics who go out of their way to save you time and some who have actually helped without charging extra. Not to say it's required but the stigma of bad mechanics has ended up being the way it is by having people oblivious to what happens under their car's hood.
The first season of telltale the walking dead. The ending with Lee and Clementine had my newly Dad self crying.
You realize how some people never grow up and some people never mature. I see these as two separate entities. Having an inner child is one thing, but being completely disrespectful to others like a 5 y/o as a grown person is something else entirely
"we help in thoughts and prayers, not dollars and cents" - GOP and Supreme Court probably
Not sure if this is sarcasm but I'm pretty sure I'm only motivated by a good raise and not cheesy "company culture". Especially since the price everything is up so much, a 25$ gift card which pays for maybe 1.94 cups of coffee is not going to make a difference
Wouldn't this just be the default android safety feature that disabled data transfer via cable by default now? You need to enable it each time, and I know testing my phone on Android 13, it prompts me when I plug into my PC via push notification, maybe lineage doesn't do that
I'd say so, I was using liftoff and it just didn't work as seamless as this beta does so it makes me want to use it more 🤷♂️
Very nice!
Had this order in the GE for almost 2 years
I had put this and one other orders in a long while ago and had gotten a few hits before but woke up to a nice surprise 😁
Jed 2.0 it seems, proxy for his GF selling gold and using his mod powers to investigate and, albeit possibly legitimately, ban others for either bad mouthing or competing for gold selling
Wow, the corruption runs deep, but once the whole Oda situation came to light I expected something to happen
I'd like to think so but it will take a lot to lower the bar in terms of general confusion with the different instances and federation
Amazing work @ruud@lemmy.world and admin team! Good to see some really awesome progress!
Great work! 👏 glad to be on the newer release with lemmy.world
I expect the exodus to be much less than some others are calling for, only because people are way more stubborn to breaking up with content than the app that serves it
I didn't see it on fdroid but it looks like it's on the play store early release. I tried from GitHub but was having issues with my phone and loading the apk
TIL: about the ArchiveTeam Warrior project working to archive reddit data
We all know that reddit has a treasure trove of information, and moving off has been a challenge in my day-to-day work because there is so many links from Google searches that send you right to reddit. Found about this great project working to archive the information out.
I think I lasted 2 days and stumbled on sub.rehab, thus my Fediverse adventure began
