    I would have thought that since they're providing a different view to Google as most users, they should be kicked off Google too, but they haven't been

  • I think that's the exact same thing they hit me with.

    The crazy part is that i don't think I've even dated a local in years here (my last girlfriend was Chinese, and my previous one Pakistani) I have a lesbian family member, and we have plenty of gay and trans people who I hang out with most weeks in my climbing group. And I lived in a Muslim country for years

    I'm the first one always telling others to let courts handle everything too and (yep, even Trump), and reporting all the subtle violent threats on Facebook people make and argue with them publicly that they're being a**holes

    It doesn't seem uncommon for people to get incorrectly accused it seems there either

    I didn't even abuse anyone to the best of my knowledge.

    The name of the charge in some countries is use of the phone when driving.. and that includes carrying it on your lap. It's possible despite the description it's just the description they use

    This is just some wanker playing victim. And, I guarantee they play victim constantly. Can we not act like babies about this and try to protect the weasels?

    It's 2026 and most people have Android Auto or car play at this time. It's not like there is any excuse.

    It's fair for the one that turned out wrong, but in this case, seems it's correct.

    Also, it's some shitty random website, so I guarantee the info is partially wrong too. There is already one correction that it wasn't flock

    If it was the police who pulled these people over, they'd be arguing with them too

    And, in what circumstance should they be speeding? That makes no sense. If there was a valid reason, you can contest the ticket anyway

    Because, such a law would have to be world-wide, and require a whole new framework to work, or people in countries without the law will abuse their position

    Here in Australia a cop busted me using my phone once (not defendable, but I was at a red light).

    I have no problem with that. I also have no problem with mobile phone detection either still despite getting pulled over

    If you don't want to follow the traffic laws don't drive or change country (but don't complain if you get hit by a oncoming car)

    I actually know someone who dodged one of these stupid vigilante bs things

    There was a road rage incident where someone got upset during a right hand turn at her, she said they suck at driving when they got agro and drove off. Basically, the driver was acting like they wanted to do a U-turn, but actually wanted a right turn

    She pulled over away from them, but theypulled up near her, and started physically smashing her car. So to get him from her car, she damaged his mirror.

    Few hours later, they're on Facebook trying to get information on her claiming she was on drugs and it was road rage by her. After she'd been completely abused, and they had ripped off mirrors, wipers off her car and damaged the door before she even went anywhere near theirs. Never mentioned they completely smashed her car

    And all they wanted to do was report to police (playing innocent).

    Facebook defended the aggressors strongly.. until people started posting photos of evidence and I managed to explain to the mods that the story was a lie. And eventually the person let slip their husband sometimes acted irrationally

    If someone like hinch caught onto this story, my friend would likely have been targeted by the community. And to this day, I make it clear to people to never report people to report info to anyone asking on Facebook, but direct to police only

    There is a reason it goes through courts instead where all evidence is shown, instead of people who are simply popular

  • Yep. I mean, I could make the argument that whilst I disagree with LNP, at least their ideas have some merit or argument at the moment.

    Onp however, they're off pretending like Pauline could have been killed by a poster, or using ridiculous whatifs or things that never happened.

    These attributes alone definitely include the vast majority of Australian citizens

    At the moment, she's clearly failing with people who live in Australia, which is why she's bragging she was endorsed by Holly valance who hasn't lived here for a decade and is dual citizen

    I would be a super bad look at steam, and epic of course would jump on it and say they're suing customers..I wouldn't buy steam products either if they started suing people
