We just dump our sewage into water and send it off to a treatment plant (if we're lucky). A major effort in compost toilets would create enough fertiliser for everything we grow. We don't even need vertical farming, we could use regenerative farming methods to reduce the need for fertilisers in the first place. Our mono-culture production is also an immense problem requiring pesticides (some even with forever chemicals that have destroyed many water-ways and more).

Did you also know we throw away as much food as we import in Europe? The US is the worst offender in terms of food waste (and anything else actually - if we consumed like those fat fucks, we'd need at least 3 worlds worth of everything every year).
