The media industry needs way more support, marketing and ads for EU media are deeply necessary. The US recognised long ago that getting citizens to have a positive opinion about you opens a lot of doors. The EU desperately need to learn to do that. The media industry in the EU is garbage. There are barely any internationally known European media.
