Is it as secure as it claims?
Without a third party audit, we'll never know.
I've never had an issue pirating anything with Mullvad.
I used it temporarily and didn't notice anything. I left to use a custom domain, which they don't support.
I don't think many people here use Brave Browser because of their crypto referral program, but they've made strides at mitigating fingerprinting. I use Brave Browser on my PC and Android and never had an issue.
Is that what you do here? You can't have a conversation and just threaten a ban when having a civil conversation? You can see from my post history that I've been nothing but cordial in any discussion I have. If banning someone during a civil conversation is your "win", then go ahead.
If you don't have a VPN, it's time to fire one up. I'd suggest Mullvad or Windscribe.
That's the best free option, and possibly best option overall. I've been with them for about five years now and it's been great.

I wish I'd known about them earlier. Their services look awesome. Are there any alternatives that you know about?
I'd assume Sweden after the Swedish government stated they wanted backdoor access to Signal.
CryptPad.fr should be on watch.
I was on the verge of deleting everything online, including my email address, because I'm with you, but at what point does the privacy movement start intruding on enjoyment of daily activity. I've accepted that my information will be had in exchange for a good product.
It's not exactly how I want to operate, but also, life is too short. Ultimately, I'm on the verge of using Mullvad Browser, Mullvad VPN, and probably getting my email hosted out of some small shared hosting platform somewhere.
I think about this type of stuff daily and it's just exhausting. The Internet has transformed into what we'd hoped it wouldn't over the past five years.
This is what has to be done. You introduce a bill directly affecting veterans and make Trump admit he doesn't give a damn about them.
Biden will forever be tied to bad performance (caused by COVID). The better poll would be Trump v. Obama.
