I think it's important to consider that the joke was made over a decade ago before getting upset that it hasn't been accurate in over a decade.

I think the problem that notification LEDs were designed to solve is just solved in other ways now, notably smart watches or the Always-On Display for OLED devices. Both consume more power than a notification LED would, but they also don't require a dedicated physical space on the phone.

It's been a terrible launch and there are still major issues that need fixing. Too little content, bad progression system, bad matchmaking system, mostly boring skill tree for loud... But I'm still having a lot of fun with it despite all of that. I wanted more out of a finished game, but at least most of the heists that it shipped with are interesting and fun. 99 Boxes can go to hell.

Note that it's based on Bergamot, which is the same engine used by the TranslateLocally extension. I'd expect these two to produce comparable translations, but I have no idea how they compare to TWP. You'd have to try it and find out.

I think the entire point is to smokescreen and deligitimize Trump's legal situation by trying to show people "look, we're doing the same thing they are doing to us!" Doesn't matter if it's completely different, or if it even goes anywhere legally. A lot of people will either not take the time to follow both cases or they'll be disenfranchised enough to tune out altogether, which is exactly what they're hoping for.

Porkbun, mostly for the cost, transparency, clean UI, and ease of use.

I've used GoDaddy, namecheap, and Google Domains in the past. GoDaddy is the only one I had a problem with, but Google sold to Squarespace recently, and I prefer porkbun to namecheap for the reasons listed above.

Not saying you're wrong, but I never had to create an account on my TCL TV running the Roku TV software. You can even choose an input to start up to, so I never even see the home screen ads.

Wouldn't surprise me if it varies by model, but I've had no issues just having mine start up to a Fire Stick connected to my home Plex server (though Fire Stick comes with its own problems).

Apple allows them to connect to any device in the "Find My" network and phone home, regardless of who it belongs to. Presumably that includes you driving next to someone with an iPhone if the tag is in your car. It's supposed to also alert you f it's determined to be travelling with you and the owner is not nearby, but I think that requires you to also have an Apple device, or install and actively use Apple's Tracker Detect app for Android.
