  • Slow your roll, she may be a hypocritical piece of shit, but there's no sense in jumping out of the frying pan and into eugenics.

  • As a foreigner, it's lowkey fucking hilarious to see Americans call everything left-of-center "Leftist/socialist/radical", when even the Democrat party would typically be classed as slightly right of center in many democratic nations. Their attacks on countries like Sweden, Germany, Canada, etc. for enacting basic social programs to stem the damage from addictions and homelessness for example are pretty telling, as though it would be beneficial to society overall to leave people to their fates with no assistance, as though they were fish that jumped out of water onto the beach - as though they should just be left out in the sun to die, and rot in the open air while everyone passes by unconcerned.

  • Good to know, it's such simple stuff, albeit not at a cost of zero dollars it's worth it.

  • The substance itself, in the same way that the smoke coming off a cigarette isn't tobacco.

  • Well, good luck. /s

The stupid bastards would have a hard time throwing a stone anywhere in any American city without hitting someone who's been fucked over or had their family damaged/destroyed by an insurance company.

  • What a pain in the ass... something about the degree of insoluble complications makes me feel that it may not have been entirely accidental (I know, I know, I have no concrete proof but other countries/jurisdictions are able to avoid these vote annulling scenarios fairly easily). Would it still have been possible for you to vote in your former district, or was it too far away (different city/state)?

  • I'm under the impression that the basic product itself isn't a concentration, but more of a fermented brew.

  • That makes sense, I wonder if it's the case and how common it is. I'll have to ask a vet tech that I know.

  • Found the cat.

  • Sort or related question, is that why their piss reeks like concentrated jenkem?

  • The inability to rewind without activating ads was what really got me back in the day. Nobody wants to call over their friend to watch something cool/funny, only to have the clip trigger an ad when they restart it.

  • I wish that I'd screenshotted it, but I've had one outrageously long 1+ hr. ad on Youtube. The thing was literally a feature length infomercial, I thought that autoplay had carried onto the next videos in my playlist and couldn't believe that it was an ad when I saw the length. For shit like that to have slipped through Youtube's "quality control" even once speaks volumes - how in the Hell did someone submit an ad longer than a Saturday morning cartoon and have it slotted into the same category as 15 second toothpaste ads?

  • more people still who didn’t give a fuck enough to bother voting.

For reference, the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election:

  • Too true, they're easy as pie, and not so tricky as a pedestrian either (the queuing feels off because of the way that cars don't automatically come to a stop at a red light).

  • I'll stick to watching my coffee brew on a webcam, everything else is more fun in person.

  • More power to you. Try sliding a reference to ::: spoiler spoiler grool ::: into the mix too, just to see whether or not anyone you're talking to is really willing to call you out on the innuendo.

  • There have been some neighbourhoods in my city where the ends of entire blocks have been redone to physically prevent access by cars. Not so simple as bollards, but running the sidewalk straight across what used to be the sidewalk and installing either giant planters or other barriers has worked well. It's a bit of a pain in the ass where one-way streets already complicate non-pedestrian access, but it's better that way IMO, as these are all residential streets anyways. Whoever was mad about it decades ago has been long forgotten by the birds bopping around, and kids playing in the street.

  • That's a really great idea, utilitarian and smells nice.
