  • Its encrypted at rest, so good luck, but you still have to worry about this from your provider. You have to also worry about if they would even tell you if they knew that was happening, and you have to worry about what they are doing on top of that.

    I have a single layer to worry about, and likely going to solve that with moving the mail storage to a home server and only having the postfix mail-exchanger in the cloud.

    However, contextually, that stuff in Canada is actually chocolate and many US versions have little to no cocoa, and oils instead of milk ingredients. So its a rip off because its not even chocolate.

  • Been running my own server for 15 years. I need to put about 20 hours maintenance a year in for updates. I have the whole thing automated as a helm chart using PVCs with cert-manager for auto-renewal and the node just runs k3s as a single node.

    That's a lot of extra layers, but the layer of seperation between the host and the services makes it very easy to automate all the pain away.

  • Yeah, in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, you can get authentic poutine. It starts getting rare to find a good one the further west you go. Its a French-Canadian cuisine and thus Quebec-centric.

    In BC the poutines are usually all wrong. Chicken gravy and shredded cheese instead of room-temp curd and a properly dark beef gravy.

    When the place actually tries to make it an original take, its better. Like the Brown's Social House Rocky Mountain Poutine, or that place that does it with tater tots. 😂

  • I can.. But too much panning. Still hard on my eyes due to the proximity. My eyes are only bad up to about 3 feet from my face, and then they get better that most.

    I hate consuming anything on a phone, prefer a monitor I can sit back from, or a TV.
