  • Seriously. I never would have bought Earthion, TWICE, if I hadn't pirated it and fell in love with it. I firmly believe in financially supporting creators that make things I love. I DON'T believe in taking the risk of paying asking price for a game I may not enjoy in an era when demos are a rarity. As a point of comparison, Trails in the Sky FC has a demo, which I played, and convinced me to buy the full version. Pirating Switch content isn't worth the time an effort to me, and without the demo, I never would have bought it.

  • Popcorn, specifically. I used to go to our local theater for the popcorn. They have a ticket plus large popcorn and drink for $9, it's a great deal. Then I figured out how to make my own popcorn that tastes just like the theater stuff with ghee and fine salt, so now I'm more inclined to just stay home and make my own.

    Still gotta do the drive-in at least once a year, though.

  • If you like Privateer, check out Double Damage Games "Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw". Excellent game with a lot of sadly lost potential due to the dev being run out of game development by hostile and entitled "gamers".
