  • Currently looking for a job in around the same field, and I think LinkedIn is not as mandatory as people can make it sound like.

    Most often offers are listed on different other platforms or directly on the company's website. You'll definitely miss on some offers but not all. It also depends on what type of company you are looking for, as I find that most big companies are LinkedIn only.

    Overall, imo it may be more difficult depending on what you are looking for, but definitely doable

  • Decided to verify my account few months ago because, as per LinkedIn, verification makes your chances of getting recruited higher (which may be total bullshit). But when I saw it led to a third-party service that seemed pretty shaddy and over the top, I decided against it. Glad I trusted my gut feeling

  • Game soundtracks, mainly World of Warcraft because of the sheer amount of different music ambience and also because of the nostalgia hit.

    I recommend https://youtube.com/@meisio for very very well crafted videos of pretty much every zone the game has or is offering.

  • I'd say it's good for vocab, and hearing maybe ? Some things really sound unnatural.

    The only course I can speak of is Japanese (no premium) and it's imho complete ass if it's your only source of knowledge. Only gimmicky sentences and speech elements
