So China superior education is growing so much that there is not enough qualified jobs to be taken? Sounds like a somewhat good problem to have, reminds me of Cuba
Yeah that's why I said somewhat because I know its not quite correct but it was useful to answer the doubts of our comrade, but yeah I meant that they answer the same yearnings of the people, the yearning for change for a better life and the frustration with current reality, us by the real correct and future looking ways, the fascists with lies and backwards looking ways that always call for a return of a fabled past
I'm laughing so much from the nvidia stock plummeting and the timing was just superb. Xi said, I've heard you folk over there like AI, so here is some AI for you, free of charge
That's the magic of fascism, it has the uncanny power of coopting people's indignation with current reality and seduce them with easy answers, like you are fucked because THEM(pick your oppressed group here) are fucking you, therefore if we go to war with THEM everything will be wonderful, and that's quite a false promise but it sounds true and people want to believe that something will change.
That being said both Germany and Italy had quite expressive communist movements, especially Italy, they would likely have made more of a splash in their after war elections had CIA not meddled with it. So it's important to understand that both communism and fascism somewhat run on the same fuel, and a well organized vanguard can defend from fascist proliferation, and the same goes the other way, a strong fascist movement can take the wind out of communist movement's wings. That's one of thr many many reasons the hatred is so strong and mutual between the two groups, and why capitalism helps fascist movements when they fuck shit up
Is the matrix server down?
I like things with heavy grind, like borderlands, or any diablo like game (such as torchlight, path of exile, or last epoch), MMOs are a good call, and Minecraft and Terraria, or any other sandbox or open world game are good calls, only in open world games you might need to pause the podcast if you intend on doing main quests (assuming you are playing for the first time, or interested in following the story again)
I think this gets to a relevant point that the average Joe in any imperialist country has not the smallest clue about how much pain and suffering his lifestyle costs, but it does not change that his lifestyle costs that much pain and suffering, and this whole complicity stuff is some semantic hair splitting and ultimately unproductive, if by complicit you mean part of the system that exploits the subjugated countries, yes they are, but that don't mean much because by this logic most everybody is, even those living in the exploited countries, so if you mean complicit knowingly furthering the exploitation, sure most people do not act like this, in fact I'd wager a very small group does. So this complicit stuff is meaningless because either everybody is or nobody. Once that is understood the point becomes: the enemy isn't Joe cracker from America or Europe, the enemy is the system, that uses Joe cracker as frontline buy seducing him with a small share of the fruits of exploitation. Our job is to dispute the ideological mechanisms that keep Joe cracker in line and show him what could be different with the system changing and what he had to gain, like not worrying about leaving inheritance for the children for no one will ever be destitute, not worrying about cost of health, working less, retiring sooner, have appropriate support if he wants to have children.
TLDR the complicit argument is kinda pointless, and the average Joe is not necessarily our enemy many of those are potential allies once we get them to understand more about how things work.
I've seen some Maoists agreeing with the statement, but usually they don't indeed.
Yeah sounds about right, will all respect to comrade critical resist, not the best post, appreciated the message but it's quite long to say not that much, and further more the guy mentioned as the golden fleeced lamb seems to not be all that powerful in doing as such. I don't mean my criticism in any mean spirit just sharing my perception about it.
I don'' t get the connection of the fable and the news.
I don't fear war ai right now, the point that scares me is US to stir up war in Korea (again) just to gather more data to train their models. And here are some sources, nothing conclusive but it is quite suggestive https://www.palantir.com/platforms/aip/defense/
https://time.com/6691662/ai-ukraine-war-palantir/
https://www.theregister.com/2024/04/15/hyundai_palantir_autonomous_ships/
My reading of this(now we're into full speculation mode) is that all this ai training madness on Ukraine is the US both realizing that the eastern block might be better armed them them, as well as the US trying to use the headstart they have in advanced machine learning hardware, via nvidia and stuff to try to get the military upper hand via ai before it's too late. I think this is more out despair than sound strategy, but this whole analysis might be wishful thinking leading me to think the US is in worse shape than it really is.
I've actually heard from pretty respectable folks, that one, an possibly quite an important one as it is, of the goals of NATO in Ukraine is to gather training data for war/propaganda oriented AI, via the palantir company. And apparently same goes for Israel, so for this purpose who wins is not relevant just that the fight rages on.
And lastly and quite concerning palantir apparently has expanded towards south Korea, which is quite alarming if the trend continues.
Problems with the bibliography for Grover Furr's 'Khrushchev Lied'
So most of the bibliography seems to be somewhat missing, with it only showing up like -, which at least on my end shows up as a lot of interrogation points, I don't know if it is a problem with the type fonts on my system or if it is an issue with the site. That being the case, does anyone have any idea where I can find the bibliography of the book?
Well it's your birthday you can have this one
Happy birthday and spend less time on reddit if you can comrade, it's better for the soul
They are indeed, I might buy his audiobook of kruschev lied and maybe some others
Man I've been searching for mao's audiobooks
Not that taxing the rich would be a bad thing just insufficient, but maybe a move that could help revolutionary cells to gain traction
How dependent on China's production is the US military complex
I've been thinking about it in view of the US doing that whole dance of threat around Taiwan, and I've asked myself, is the US capable of building tanks, subs, planes and missiles without China providing be it raw material or basic manufacturing somewhere along the chain? I'm genuinely curious about that so if someone knows about it or can point me on the right direction I'd be very thankful
