This is how boomer minded people think the world works. There is always a quick fix. First chemicals don't work? Get more, get variety. Double down. Don't stop that would admit defeat.
Fox killing your chickens? Don't evaluate. Just kill the fox. It still happening? Kill all foxes in a 3 mile radius. Etc
Nothing matters other then what they want. And want they want is a quick easy fit. If they throw money at it, that means it should work without them having to do the work.
I know a lot of people better at coding then most And the likes. However the problems I've ran into are.
The school they went to for a degree in tech beat the independence and creativity out of them to the point where they need their hand for everything in fear of getting in trouble. They also have horrible
Absolutely no time, money, or energy to get into it.
I can belive that. That taco bell in Stillwater is so fucking weird. The only thing I can think of is that it's where everyone with the munchies go to. Once I was going home and had to pass by that Taco bell when it was ice and snow out, the line was still wrapped around the building like it was just a normal hour and a normal day. Not a single other soul was around, just me and the people waiting in their cars at the taco bell.
I'll hear people talk about treats and America and I'll think, man don't have a lot but I'll sacrifice my comforts if it means a better world. Then I read shit like this and go "oh...oh right I live in a different reality then most of these people." For me a treat is like the occasional Ice cream or stuffie. Big thing is video game stuff and crafting things if I save up. Not...invading a country to get endless shrimp from red lobster back...
Despite growing up before all this. I spent a lot of times hiding in my room playing video games cause being around my father was insufferable. This would cause him to get angry that I never went outside. I had no one to play with and on top of that my family put a fear in me of poisonous snakes and mountain lions*.
"When I was your age I'd just stare them down" okay cool dad. You go do that.n
It always infuriated me that they wouldn't take me anywhere or give me a reason to go outside then removed at me for staying inside.
Also not surprising, when my grandparents lived closer they would take me to the park all the time and I loved it. I also played in their mountain lion free yards (that I knew off, but I was a dumbass kid)
*my stupid ass father love telling the story of the mountain lion who tried to stalk my toddler ass playing by the door window and was never seen again.
I wish I had money for every time someone said I was being paid for going against these chuckle fucks. Even happen with City Council. At this point I demand to be paid if they are going to keep telling me this. Other wise its cruel and unusual punishment.
When I'm driving I go the speed limit all the time. If someone rides my ass I go slower. There is nothing they can do about it and I find it hilarious. You going to force me in this hell, I'm taking you with me...very slowly.
