This setup is a result of months of learning about NixOS and tinkering. There is always something more to polish but I'm at a point where I'm actually satisfied.

  • it really isn't parabola, i just added the repos from parabola to an arch install

This is my first time trying both hyprland and wayland. My friends have been bugging me for quite some time about switching to wayland but I'm just to comfortable with my dwm setup. So far I really like hyprland though and I might actually keep using it

   • librewolf \\\\ with the FF Ultima css, too!

5. wtf do you have open in the other librewolf window???
   • 4get.ca \\\\ proxy search engine that respects your privacy! BTW, will is very cool and i respect him a lot
6. colorscheme?
   • N0tch2k \\\\ finding the origin of this is pretty messy, the most i got was a devianart profile and the original repo containing the colorscheme

NOTE: i rewrote the photon, firefox, discord and 4get themes i made for biscuit just for this lol

2. wtf is soswav.love?? is it an actual link?
   • no, it isn't a link and i don't think it ever will! and, ehem, it looked cool! (soswav stands for 'sleeping on sound waves', if you're curious..)
3. what is elvish and why are you in /home/soswav/.config/elvish
   • it's a shell that is pretty cool! kinda fast, too!
   • i wanted to show how bad my elvish config is!
     • (the file manager is nimmm, if you wanted to know that)
4. what's that terminal font? and what is that font in waybar?
   • CaskaydiaCove Nerd Font Mono (miracode is still cool) | terminal font
   • Ubuntu Nerd Font | waybar font
5. did you make that waybar style?
   • nope! it uses the waybar style by Krautt and the modules by JaKooLit, i edited some of the modules so it looks more like this setup by someone i don't remember the name of (also, if you ever see this: thanks for sharing your terminal font!)
     • why though?
       • as i've said previously, i'm not very original and i \really\ like their waybar config! (i do want that wallpaper, though.)
6. IS ANY OF THIS CUSTOM!?!?!?!?
   • kinda? most of the stuff i have is taken (or inspired) from other setups but i always end up editing it to give it a more 'my-way' look

I posted a few weeks ago my old hyprland config. Decided to go ahead and and remake it, switching from catppuccin color scheme to tokyo night!

Background image is from Omori, modified to fit the color scheme. Terminal and general UI font is Monaspice Neon.

i despise bars but it would still be nice to know the time!
