Even John Bolton Doesn’t Deserve This
Trump’s former national security adviser is a very hateable figure. But he still needs defending from the president’s lawlessness.
He deserves to have his intestines nailed to a tree then be forced to run around the tree until he collapses and dies.
More than 2,000,000 dead civilians in Iraq alone because of his lies and bullshit. That's just Iraq btw. One of at least 7 countries we've bombed in the last 25 years.

So yes, Bolton has more than earned the hatred so many people have for him. But that still doesn’t mean that what Donald Trump is doing to him is right.
It does, however, mean that the system John Bolton helped make must be dismantled.
No one is saying what's happening to him is right. They might be saying that it's poetic justice, but mostly they're saying pass the popcorn while I watch some fascists fuck each other over. Sure the system needs to be dismantled but Bolton being treated unfairly is not the reason.
The problem with fascists fucking each over over, is the second they're done with each other they go back to focusing on us.
We can put it this way: does Trump going after Bolton change anything we should be doing? No, I don't think it does.

I 100% agree with this. But I can agree while saying this is illegal and must be stopped, he also 100% deserves it happening to him while it's happening.

Careful not to fall into the trap of black/white thinking. Bolton can be a snake and unfairly targeted for retribution by the highest office in the land at the same time.

Rudy isn't critical at all. Last I heard from him, he was still all in. If I were to measure my sadness by comparison, I am far less sad for Rudy.
I'm gonna need Bolton to deliver actionable information that will bring down the regime.

Here's the thing: I obviously would not go out of my way to directly harm John Bolton. But he helped create this fascist system, and if it were currently ruining my life he wouldn't help or even give a shit about me in the slightest. So fuck him. He shit in his own bed, now he can sleep in it.
