- LPT: Turn safe search off, and you don’t even need the NSFW subreddits. You can search for adult anything and those results are guaranteed to contain porn. Usually, the more you scroll, more hard core it gets. When you go deep enough, you’ll eventually start finding furries too.
  
  Sounds like a bad way to do things. Won't you end up with gore on your feed? Not to mention it would be hard to filter out really dehumanizing, gross porn (which is frankly a description that fits most of it anyway)

  No, but with a screenshot without the Watermark at the bottom, there are also apps to delete Watermarks (always have to explain everything to today's kids 🙄)

I will straight up never give any social media site a real email address let alone a photo of myself.

Several years ago, I tried making an Instagram account. It was locked immediately (on first log in). They good me to upload a selfie where I was also holding up my driver's license.

- I seem to remember only <7 instances allowing porn posts when I joined up. As a practical matter, I don't remember the last time I saw porn posted from any instance besides lemmynsfw.com
  TL;DR: Porn on Lemmy is as centralized and easilly squashed by regulation as anywhere else.

Tho i remember when they removed compact reddit. But i think if they remove old.reddit.com, people will really start to leave, so they'll try to get rid of it quietly.

This is horrible, I remember they did the same thing with Facebook marketplace (only for everything not only NSFW lol) although you can just use a random AI generated face.
