Police are investigating two shootings targeting elected officials in Minnesota that could possibly be connected, officials said.

A source familiar with the matter tells ABC News that the victims are state Sen. John Hoffman(D) and state Rep. Melissa Hortman (D).
Both were shot at their homes and authorities believe the shooter was impersonating law enforcement, the source said.
That impersonating cops thing is a little sketch.
They keep saying "impersonating" when there is a very decent chance this person is in fact law enforcement.
People are more likely to believe the first thing they've heard. This isn't their first rodeo.
