Free and open source shower? Like the public beach showers? Ew.
- Free as in freedom (in your own home) and open source as in you open the source of water coming in.
- Better than ocean water, fish poop in there!

But you have to pay to use the water...

My non native english speaking ass imagined it like the shover head and hose and the valve will have open source design and would be repairable and you can 3d print new nozzles or something and i was like what is the issue with that i would take that anytime over my current one
- You can totally 3d print shower heads, it's usually a pretty standard connector. (Well, there's like two standards, based on very limited research - US and Canada have a different standard than the rest of the world.)

I'll take any FOSS clear and cold ass shower over proprietary warm and muddy shower.

You will need a barrel, a rope and a pulley on a pole. Oh and something to make holes in a barrel with.
To compile:
rope the barrel and lay the rest of the rope over the pulley
drive the pole into the ground next to your desired source of water
optionally, keep the barrel's lid openable
make holes in the barrel in a convenient position, such that the holes will face downwards when you eventually mast the barrel
To charge:
Set the barrel in the water source and wait until the barrel is full of water (optionally open the lid at this point)
If you optionally opened the lid before, then mandatorily close the lid, now
Pull the rope from the other side of the pulley such that the barrel goes up
Let the water pour from the barrel and have fun with the shower

Where do they live where Showers are free and open? You can charge like $7 for a shower, showers in home cost water which the owner gets billed for.
- I think gratis showers would be impossible.
  But I would love to see what a libre shower looks like.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Debian, so long as you’re comfortable configuring most things through the shell you’ll be fine.
