impeachtrumpagain.org is the petition with 250,000+ signatures and rising

www.impeachtrumpagain.org IMPEACH TRUMP. AGAIN.

Impeach Trump. Sign the petition NOW to defend democracy and demand accountability! He is disqualified from office, and has violated the U.S. Constitution.

It got 100,000 signatures in its first 11 days. I know quite a few of people on the fediverse are fed up of seeing bot posts about violence against musk cars to distract people from the real problems, so do something that will make a change. But you'll also need to help others who feel the same and who aren't around here.

The first time around, there were millions of signatures on the petition so you'll need to help spread the word about the website. Tell your neighbourhood, your friends and family, work colleagues, and if you're out and hear people moaning, tell them about it.

Maybe someone can make a separate post to brainstorm ideas? The instance I'm currently on has very few political channels, so maybe you can re-post this elsewhere.

Let’s be honest with ourselves here: he was impeached twice, and nothing happened.

Assuming democrats somehow have the numbers, what exactly would be achieved by a third impeachment?

I think focusing on mid-terms is the path to success. This congress won’t remove him

  I think it’s too early to tell but right now it’s not looking good. That said, most presidents and their party benefit from a honeymoon period which we are still in.
  
  With how the voting machines were rigged this election, I fear our last semi fair election results are gone.
  
  The party in the White House generally loses the midterms, as Trump did last time. This time his behavior is even worse and more widely known. I'm betting on a solid blue ass kicking.

- It raises public awareness significantly that other people feel the same. And who knows who Trump will piss off next, and his favors could quickly run out in congress.

  Are you registered to a party? That may matter for primaries before the actual 2026 elections. If you’re not interested in voting in any primaries, or if your state has open primaries, you don’t need to worry about party affiliation.
He's not eligible for office via the 14th amendment. Neither are a bunch of republicans.

I feel like trying to follow all the rules and norms while your opponent doesn't isn't really a winning long term strategy, but I guess this doesn't hurt much.
That will definitely make a difference.
