Actress Michelle Trachtenberg has died at the age of 39, police sources told The New York Post.
The actress recently underwent a liver transplant and may have experienced complications from the surgery
Transplants are serious business. Wouldn't surprise me if this was either the direct cause or a contributing factor.
To me she’ll always be Dawn Summers from Buffy.

I literally just looked her up last week and she hadn't been doing too well in recent years. Of course the Internet being the shithead it is was heckling her for not looking like a pristine perfect celeb. I hope it wasn't related to suicide. Crushed on her hard back when she was in Buffy and Eurotrip and she always seemed bright and fun.

My heart goes out to all of the people she loved and who loved her. For all that Dawn wasn't a character I liked, I never, ever doubted Michelle as a great actress. She deserved better for her life.
