I don't understand how it's possible for "removed" to be a slur but "removed" be fine. Either way you're turning immutable characteristics into an insult, so what's the difference exactly? I guess there's some contexts where it's not as bad, like when you hammer your own hand and yell "son of a removed!". But as a sailor-mouth myself, directly calling someone a removed, especially a woman, is vile to me. I don't care how big of an asshole she is.

Two horrible people being horrible. There was this one nugget in the article which was interesting:

This is the first time I've seen him acknowledge that people don't like him.
