Nope, the US is behind most global issues. The massive interference they do, daily, to the global South has hampered growth and democracy across the world.
It has been the single most evil force in world history. More colonial than the UK, more slaves than the entirety of Europe combined, and more imperial military outposts than peak roman empire. And that's without mention the tens of thousands of assassinations and regime changes.
I mean it got so bad the US invented its own enemies wholesale like the current Iranian regime and the taliban.
Not really. On the otherside of every us intervention is Russia or China. The us pulling back means the free world loses influence and control and these strategically important regions fall under the control of authoritarian adversary.

Every US citizen has fewer and less rights than you do, assuming you're in nz. They also have more prisoners per capita than every single authoritarian regime in history, including Nazi Germany during its peak Holocaust era. It's not a free country, it's authoritarian at its core.
Imagine defending the country that has invaded more countries than any other country currently on earth.
