They really are speedrunning fascism this time around. They did have plenty of time to prepare out in the open and gained public support with no long term repercussions.

- Not supporting this but freedom of speech is freedom from prosecution. If you are flipping burgers and tell a customer your favorite category of adult film, your getting fired.

  If you're flipping burgers, and later you get home and post online on a personal account about your favorite category of adult film, it's none of your employer's business.
  
  Yep you are free to call out fascist your employer supports. And your employer is unfortunately free you to fire you. No free speech violations there. Now if they called in the government to take you off to a camp to be exterminated or re-educated. Once the government becomes involved it's most definitely a free speech / human rights violation. Will get there soon enough. Still plenty of reason to be outraged.

No, the USA was always an inspiration to fascism (just ask the remaining Native Americans as an example).
That's why it was able to adopt into it so quick. Not that hard to change a car to gasoline if it was already running on diesel.

  better analogy would be converting a (relatively modern) gas engine to E85, it's simpler, from what i understand

  Yeah they fought the Nazis - but first they made a deal with the Nazis to divide eastern Europe and went on a campaign of rape and plunder. You should look into the atrocities committed by the USSR during the 20th century - Germany paid a heavy price for their evils. Russia never did.

  I can't name anyone who fired her and you know it. You also know that Elon Musk literally claims to be a "free speech absolutist" and then censors people who disagree with him and his fans are all in support of that.
