German Rheinmetall to provide Ukraine with two Skynex air defense systems in second year half
German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall will provide the Ukrainian army with two Skynex air defense systems, the company's press service reports.
So basically the existing order, originally scheduled for early 2024, will be produced a bit faster than anticipated...
PS: 2 systems = 4 Mk3 revolver guns, 1 X-TAR3D radar, 1 command module each on a total of 12 trucks.

I think there's a demo video of these or at least similar Rheinmetall system on YT. Looks very effective.

This will provide the ultimate battle-testing for Germany's next short range army air defense systems, where the exact same components will be mounted on the Boxer armored vehicle.
This is apparently in addition to an unspecified number of units already in service in Ukraine.
