Hyperloop has been abandoned now. I saw one of their "engineers" on Twitter say that it would have been feasible if they had infinite money. So you get the idea about what kind of people are working on American infrastructure.
Hyperloop didn’t pass the sniff test from the first time I even heard of it. It was about as viable as the Solar FREAKIN’ Roadways! meme.
Btw it is this guy I am talking about.
He would probably see these solar railways as viable.

many such cases
I'm pretty sure the whole point of the Hyperloop proposal was to prevent the high speed rail from being built
But chinese high speed rail system is censored because at what cost and Uyghur only VPN working no democracy Taiwan Taiwan Taiwan
The Economist would like to offer you a job...
The new hospital in my hometown took 10 years to build. Supposed to be done in 2, 8 years of delays.
The PRC built a covid hospital in like 10 days in 2020 lol
China was able to build 8000 miles of rails in ~5 years and yet my city has failed to finish the expansions to its already existing rails in 4. It hurts as someone who relies on public transit.
UK: Blows 95 billion pounds on a railway from London to Ipswich
China: Builds high speed rail network across all of Indonesia for 13 billion dollars
I hate my country and I genuinely believe it deserves to burn. Even my friends are so brainwashed that they don't see how fucked the country is.
California is definitely not smiling.
The US when it's time to send more bombs to be dropped on other countries: Bipartisan support, instant pass, delivery ASAP.
The US when it's time to fund public infrastructure or resources for the public for much of anything: Money is haaard, omg, how do we pay for things??? I don't understand how anyone of this works. It's gonna take like 40 years to build this, right? And we'll never be able to afford any of it. Ahhhh. 😢 Plz vote for the person who is going to gut public funding more and increase the zero accountability military budget, we can't afford this stuff.
About that "prototype..." I knew "something" had come of it, had seen it online before- but basically after over a decade, Musk came up with this:

Basically a neon abortion of private, one-lane tunnels with Tesla taxis... of course, it's over now as well 😂
My favorite part about those tunnels is that they're not wide enough to even open the doors in case of an emergency. If there's ever a fire in that tunnel, it's gonna be a collective viking funeral for single digit millionaires. 😂

2024 should show him having moved to Texas.
2030 should show Elon Musk coming up with some proposal to sabotage this bullet train proposal
