As she should.
Anyone who looks closely at this topic will find there has been a revolving door between media and government staff for quite a while now.
I can somewhat understand why you would hire someone with experience in politics to be commenter for political shows, but my preference would be to draw a line in the sand and to say that people directly connected to power shouldn’t be be on the news, or they should be publicly disclosing their conflicts of interest. That’s journalism 101.
But this hire stepped it up a notch. She was literally fueling the mobs that are sending death threats to NBC News.
Shocker, people don’t want to work with someone that has been working on getting them whacked by crazies.
This is the important takeaway. We can debate the value of pulling people in from different campaigns and administrations. But someone who helped organize and encourage insurrection and propaganda in this manner deserves nothing but ridicule and ostracism. Not a several $100,000 a year job.
Hypocritical when Jen Psaki goes from Biden's White House Press Secretary to show host on MSNBC.
The issue is not her stint in politics, but rather her election denialism and attacks on journalists.
But feel free to explain your point if you have one.
I just want to recognize that the media is dysfunctional and biased as a propaganda arm of government. Let's also take issue with others like:
Michael Steel RNC Chair to MSNBC commentator
Steve Schmitt R Campaign manager to MSNBC political analyst
Nicole Wallace Bush's WH Communications Director to MSNBC host
Did Jen Psaki commit treason?
People unable or unwilling to not lie shouldn't be in journalism.
Psaki didn’t help to facilitate a coup and didn’t do things that caused NBC journalists to get repeated death threats.
That’s the main, and very clear, point of the piece.
You could have insulted them without insulting people who have down syndrome.
Your comment is also in the wrong there, friend.
