Cursive writing to be reintroduced in Ontario schools this fall

Sweet. Hopefully phreneology and astrology make a comeback next. Seriously, how about basic logic instead?

A return to teaching phonics is good news! A little meh about the cursive thing because it's really only practical if they're writing with fountain pens. It's more important that children write things physically, doesn't matter what print.

Or - crazy thought - perhaps they could teach skills relevant to the 21st century?
