My DIY Dungeons and Dragons ambiance mixer
A walkthrough of the design of my DIY hardware sound mixer, inspired by the Launchpad, allowing me to create a great sound ambiance at the D&D table.
This article walks you through how I've designed a keypad allowing me to mix different sound ambiances at my table, to fully immerse my players in the atmosphere I'm trying to create. It did run me a bit north of 30 EUR, and the article comes with all the instructions about how to reproduce it at your table.
Note: this project is now 9 months old, but I've recently made it even easier to get started for Windows users.
