I really did enjoy popping my own though. I just don't understand why you would want to watch it from other people.
- Not just pimples, but cysts, boils, winter pores, ingrown hairs, ear wax, blackheads, ingrown toenails, splinters, abscesses, tooth extractions, spider bites, bot flies, ringworm.. it was glorious
- I'm grossed out by people squeezing pimples but get satisfaction from watching people squeeze out blackheads. It's weird.

AITA. I'm subbed to a few alternatives on Lemmy, but they're all dead. Sure, I could start it myself, but it needs other people to post to actually be worth it.

The MST3K and Stargate communities here aren't terribly active and I lack the leet meme skills to help

Most of the things I like to follow have communities I want are here. But there are a number where there aren't enough subs to make it a real community yet. Often this is because there just isn't a ton of OC to post because they're not super popular. Like my favorite band (!pearljam@lemmy.world), my favorite video game (!oxygennotincluded@lemmy.world), or my favorite TV Show (!taskmaster@feddit.uk - the show is quite popular though)

A few real niche ones, I also miss AOE2, and r/e30 now and then

r/topsandbottoms and r/pecsandpecbouncing are the biggest subs that keep me on reddit.

I'm hoping for a more active Counter-strike community. There are a couple out there, but not much activity. It's pretty much the only thing I still check regularly on Reddit.

I miss the crew from r/woodstoving. It's about the time of year to be posting our wood stacks and testing the moisture content and commenting about cooler nights making us think about firing up the ole stove!
