I'm a guy who does all kinds of things, from cosplay, piano/keytar, prop painting/weathering, I'm a small content creator trying to grow.
WARNING!?!?!?!?!?!?? OH MY GOD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!! HEEEELP!!!!!!! HEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!
oh it's not a big deal? Oh. Thought we were all gonna die because of a tiktok link. At least yoir comment made me think that was the case.
What is a Lord to do?
Hello everyone, long time no see! Figured I'd say hello again. Hope you are all well.
Yes. It's a pretty simple app, and as someone trying to break into doing more content creation and growing, it's kind of a necessity unfortunately.
So sad that it should come to this.
If I do, I might.
That's just mean lol.
For those that followed all my medieval cosplay stuff, and all my armor and costume design, it's all lead to this. Later everybody!

Been wanting to make this for a long time. Finally got to. I'll see you guys around!
Enjoy this fresh off the grill as a parting gift.
L
Ooooo I remember now lol. That was funny.
I know, I don't want to waste more time lol. I like lemmy, but there's quite a few communities that aren't on here as well unfortunately.
Maybe I'll come back in the future.
Fair. I never bothered with instagram until a few days ago. Never had a handle on social media like that.
Byeee. Thanks for the kind words.
thank you. Good luck to your future as well.
I do not know
Fare thee well!
Kidnapping joke?
My instagram and reddit name are in the post. Hope to see you around there!
Thanks! You can still see my stuff through my other socials tho. Take care!
If you've been following my medieval armor and cosplay stuff please read this!
I won't be posting to lemmy anymore. I was using liftoff, and now that that's dead I really can't be bothered to learn another client. I post most of my content to my instagram now. If you are interested thats https://www.instagram.com/chamrsdeluxe
I also still post to reddit /u/marc815 (I know, evil) every now and then to a couple communities that just don't exist here.
Good bye lemmy peoples. Really enjoyed sharing and discussing my outfits and armors and props with you guys!
I will check on this post for the next day or so at least tho to say bye to those who kept tabs on my stuff.
If this makes you sad, hopefully this can cheer you up.
No.
No u
Bare minimum upper fit test. Trying to see how I need to modify the surcoat for the look I am going for.
No potions, cloaks, hoods, baubles. Just trying to see how the surcoat will lay with my breastplate and what mods I'll need to do to achieve the lay of the blue surcoat seen in the inspiration armor.
Helmet painted and weathered now to match the rest of my armor.
Woohoo
Plume holder installed on my helmet!
The helmet is currently in the basement. Waiting for the base cost to dry before I can finally start weathering!
Post was removed? First time that's ever happened to me. Either way. My full armor.
The armor is full steel. I have just painted it to look worn and "experienced"
Can't strap the breastplate solo without longer straps lol.
Fun fact, the breastplate isn't small, solitary breastplates are sized like this so the wearer stoll has full range of motion. If it was any longer you wouldn't be able to bend or lean.
Jammies are also on. Couldn't be bothered to change into my trousers.
speaking of legs, I made arming points for the leg harness and they work GREAT!
This Wenzel bascinet isn't my main helm for this fit even though it would be more historically accurate to this style of armor.
My armet just isn't finished and painted yet, but that will be my main.
Also omitted is the maille skirt I have on order and the cloth layer of the armor.
Just wanted to see how everything sized up.
How I paint and weather my armor and props!

Finally recorded a video on how I paint and weather my armor. Going over the whole process (after base spray paint coat)
Before and after repainting and weathering this crappy $20 helmet.
Looks much better.
Turning a crappy plastic helmet into a respectable prop progress.
Widened the eye slits with a rotary tool and the initial sanding and priming are done.
Now more sanding, bondo and sanding and priming etc.
Got a new helmet! Love the way it looks with this armor
I'm already working on modifying it.
I added the nasal between the eyes in the visor.
Before pic
After pic
Adding a plume holder soon, a strap and will be painting it to match the rest of my armor.
Very happy with it!
A comedic short film we made. Inspired a bit by Monty Python.

This was for a film contest.
The theme was "late" to be interpreted however we wanted. Had to be between 2-4 minutes, include a slinky and the phrase "what are you doing here? "
This is the directors cut.
Our short film didn't air during the contest, so I released the directors cut.
I hope you enjoy.
Forgot to include in the credits, but all post production was done by me.
A professional photographer hot a picture of me and it came out INCREDIBLE!

Incredible year. Any questions, or anything, feel free to ask!
All three of my outfits from the ren fest thos year. Which ones your favorite?
This time my armor was heavily inspired by Elden Ring, including the cerulean and crimson flasks.
I've named this iteration Astor the Tarnished.
My final costume for our Halloween party! What a great night!
Here are a couple more pics
My costume is nearly complete. Meet the dead king Astor.
I recently added a collar and bought some gold chains and whatnot to make it a bit more regal. Also, pardon the shitty photoshop.
Carolina Ren Fest was AMAZING!
The crusader is my day 1 outfit. Day 2 is my squire outfit.
Had a great time and met some new friends!
And of course, drank some beer!
My crown without the skull mask. Inspired by The Green Knight.
I wanted to see how the crown looked without the skull mask, as wearing the skull isn't going to be viable long term. It looks AWESOME. I used some shitty photoshop.
Also, here's the inspiration picture.
