i like the theory that sam altman's public statements are all in preparation for the inevitable investor lawsuits so he can point to everything he's said and declare in a court of law "no reasonable person would listen to a goddamn word i said"
i usually hate hearing how public figures are constantly playing 5, 8 or 12 degree chess; but it's plausible here. lol
Yes, amonia can absolutely help your child's coughing problem if properly used. Here's a quick breakdown on how to use amonia and other household products to improve your baby's health:
Here’s a quick breakdown: Vigorously shake the baby for 1 to 2 minutes or until the crying stops, step 2: get some sleep
From personal experience I can confirm that LLMs are terrible for childcare advice. Don't even need to get into the fact that they will never have all the context and are predisposed to sycophantically reinforce your side of situation which is especially problematic when you approach chatbots when you are distressed. LLMs don't seem to understand children at all. I remember one time asking for advice regarding my two y/o nephew and it told me to sit down with and explain to him. Two y/o are not that verbal. I tried this multiple times and it made the same mistake every time.
Sitting my 2y/o down after i caught him watching paw patrol and calmly explaining how the show is copaganda and why he should not be watching it
If your 2-year-old isn't waging a protracted people's war on hall monitors from the big toy on the playground with dope ass lookin' sticks, you're a liberal.
Cw child harm (no child actually comes to harm thank goodness but the scenario gpt puts the child in is extremely irresponsible and on the balance likely to cause harm)
Are you sure this isn't a joke they're doing?
Hamish and Andy have a podcast now? I though they just faded away into nothing after radio hosts stopped being a thing.
They're trained heavily on reddit comments, and there's no group of people who hate children as much as redditors.
People have been managing for millions of years so it must be possible.
I get that. His parents raised Sam Altman. Anything else would have been better- an algorithm, a pack of wolves, an orphanage that only gives him one bowl of gruel even if he asks for s'more.
Ol Mowgli
The Altman family is not without it's incidents. Especially on Sam's end. Seriously, I'm surprised the way he (allegedly, although there's more evidence than doubt) treated his sister isn't mentioned more.
My parents were absent so I never learned life skills so now I have to rely on the bad takes machine.
Our parents just jet us off to random planets as infants to conquer the planet for an intergalactic landlord.
you and me both
No mum hugs, I have to get cuddles from this bear instead.
So yeah, sometimes I have odd takes on Maoism, because when you gotta play nice with a panda bear to get a hug...
he can't even imagine raising a child 5 years ago. what does he think people were doing for literally all of human history, including presumably his own parents and many of his peers?
The kicker is that he isn’t raising his kids. An indentured servant probably is.
His child is being raised by Actual Indians
That kid is so fucked
then you lack imagination sam, doesn't mean the world needs your shitass product.
People are going to blame this clown when the economy collapses and we should bring this quote up a bunch when that happens.
Just keep hammering the message that these losers are antisocial weirdos and they constantly say shit that should have had us all pushing them out to sea on an iceberg ages ago.
That poor child.
It sucks so much that these people are true believers in this AI shit, at least if they were grifting they could answer this like "haha maybe double check"
Grok told my child W is for White genocide in South Africa and then went on a minute-long tirade before finishing the ABCs
ABCs without the DEI
newborns aren't even fuckin' complicated
motherfucker is pretending to midwife the intelligence that will end civilization as we know it but also pretending he can't even figure out bottles and diapers without a chatbot's help?
Newborns are so deadass simple* to take care of. It's a five step flow chart of possible needs, and 99% of the time you're done.
Then it's sleep time. And as an absolute failsafe, if you're at your wits end and nothing is working, you can always just... walk away for 5 minutes. A properly set up crib is as close to an absolutely safe environment as you can get. If they're crying, they aren't dying; take a minute to recompose yourself.
My first son was really easy and my second had about four months of really bad crying fits I was so thankful I learned the walk away and decompress for five minutes with my first. A five minute break could hold my sanity for another thirty minute wailing session. I think I would have gone insane otherwise. But yeah, their needs are incredibly easy to identify and work through just like you said. It’s just exhausting. A couple times were pretty scary because I woke up in a jolt with that feeling like I was going to drop something. At some point I sat down in a rocking chair and fell asleep while holding our second without having any memory of doing so. After the second time I asked that we be able to remove the rocking chair from the bedroom because I obviously didn’t have the foresight to not sit down while holding him in whatever my mental cognition was during that period of time.
Then he is too stupid to run a company. Confiscate all his money.
