I wanted to review The Order. It’s not a particularly popular film or anything, nor do I think it’s good or notable, but it is about an important topic. Since I study American violence, the rise and fall of white supremacist terrorism recurs regularly and I was already poised to be able to cover it. The Order, or Silent Brotherhood has become the example that so many white supremacist hate groups wish to emulate, foundational to things like Oklahoma City, Atomwaffen, the alt-right, and QAnon. I want to tell the story myself, because the movie botches its narrative in a real disappointing way
