I'm stuck on that level of Baba is You as well. I'll inevitably come back and hit my head against the wall on it every few weeks.
A stretchy wrap is great for newborns since they're often too small for a normal carrier even with an insert. Some brands make ones with buckles if you don't want to fiddle with tying it on every time. I use Boba but there's a bunch of similar brands at the same price point.
I hate to recommend reddit here, but scrolling through babywearing helped me a ton with figuring out what a safe carry looks like for a tiny baby.
I'm on maternity leave and finally finished the extra levels in Opus Magnum this week after figuring out how to sit with the baby and still use both hands
Serious transport alternative is a good way to put it. We have a pedal-assist e-cargo bike and it's a game changer for mobility.
When I was pregnant, I was able to ebike to my doctor's appointments pretty much up until I gave birth. My husband uses it for most hardware store runs. Grocery trips for heavy items like cat litter, taking the dogs to the vet, the list goes on.
These are all possible on a non-e cargo bike (or normal bike + trailer) but realistically we would have defaulted to the car most times. Now we drive less than once a week.
This feels written in an AI generated voice as well though
- all the semi-dramatic filler "Well, Valve had the last laugh", "That said, it wasn’t perfect", "And honestly?", etc
- each paragraph has an intro, some content, and a conclusion
- all the punctuation is grammatically correct
Plus, it uses a very generic argument about why everyone else is wrong for not liking the controller, even though from the comments here it's pretty clear the main reason is not having a d-pad
Ah, another ad disguised as an article. I understand the average person doesn't know how to do bike maintenance and would need to learn about pumps, patch kits, etc; but saying "no one told me I'd also need" a helmet and a bike lock is kinda ridiculous.
warming up faster than the wet clothes and drying from inside the pile
not sure how true this is, but they do help dry clothes faster because they're knocking everything around more which distributes the air/heat better
