Little late posted, as the data is released now. And there is not much data, other than numbers how much Rockstar made money (especially off GTA 5). And because Rockstar made so much money, their stock prices went up with a value of about 1 billion USD.
It wasn't like that before Ai. And since rise of Ai, the quality went down and not only for bounties. So this is not a problem with bounties. Now that the quality of reports went up and is not much of an issue anymore, we can assume it will not an issue anymore with bounties coming back.
In short, bounties are not the cause of the low quality reports.
bounty also encourages good reports. So your argumentation is that the bounty program is the reason why reports were bad lately? I don't think that is the reason and bringing it back will not make it that worse again.
Sleep doesn't work well in some environments, like right now my current one using AMD+AMD hardware on EndeavourOS. Therefore I do boot. And couldn't care less for 10 seconds faster or slower boot times.
First I wanted to install with podman, but the instructions wasn't clear about it. And I'm not very familiar with docker much, just used podman to build a cross platform app with Rust (little unrelated I know). So I could not figure this out and looked into the AUR. To my luck that worked out pretty well. Maybe I will look into the docker again in the future, if I want do a cross device installation (access from other devices). Right now, I'm not comfortable doing that.
I encountered such programs in the past. It's basically simple HTML with JavaScript, to run with my "favorite" browser and not being packaged as an Electron app. But that is very rare. Still better than dependent on the server, which solves a huge issue (which was my point). But the other point isn't solved, if the person is "forced" to use a browser he or she does not like.
Well you have more control over it and not dependent on the server. Also it should be more private I guess. I'm not judging, just asking if there was no native app that you felt forced to use a worse browser.
Off course I already got affected by removing ability to purchase games, I wanted to buy when they get cheap. Now I cannot anymore (at least certain games on Steam). These affect me personally. What's so hard to understand that the game in this post does not affect me personally and I do not care about this game on a personal level? I don't have to care about every game.
I am however for archival of the game to preserve it for the future (not by the company, but more like we play Roms in emulators or install old Windows games from Abandonware site). Preservation is important and I do not discriminate there. But I do not care if pseudo games sold as a game for money. I do not see a value in buying this "media" in tricking people its a game. Those who have it do not lose access anyway.
First those who have it don't lose access. Only new people will not able to purchase it anymore. Second where did I say its not important? I only said I don't care on a personal level, because it does not affect me and because I don't think its a game at all. The game is most likely already preserved. In fact I am for archiving every bad game too, that is important. I play old bad games for fun in emulators in example.
I think you don't understand what LFS is. It is not a distribution you move on to, you build it from the ground up yourself following instructions and understanding how it works. Gentoo does all of that for you, you just have a ready to go distribution where you compile applications from source; you can even use binary builds to avoid compiling complicated and big apps.
Maybe a hot take, but I don't care this game being taken down as it is just an interactive movie and not a real game. It's a shame a media is taken offline though. But at least it does not hurt me personally.
I prefer assymetrical xbox style for modern games where the analog stick is more important than dpad. For oldschool games I prefer the dpad on the outside (symmetrical) like Playstation does. Just my opinion.
The PS1 controller was my first real PC controller btw, with an adapter! Back then it was such a blast to play emulation with such a great controller. As other PC controllers sucked for the most part.
