  • I'm crazy. Mark My Words. In 20 years, we'll have so many microbes capable of consuming plastic people will be removed about their packages not being able to effectively protect their goods from spoiling. The goldfish has spoken.

  • The author makes a pretty compelling case for letting Phil go. Can you imagine the owners of a sports team continuing to pay a Manager millions of dollars a year despite them getting their asses kicked every time they suit up?

  • Other Democrats see Mamdani — a state Assembly member with a history of controversial comments about Israel and policing — as politically toxic for a party whose national success depends on its ability to attract votes in less progressive places nationwide.

So, to the DNC, it's better to see the winning Democratic candidate defeated in the general now because that will ensure victory in Alabama in a year or three? The propaganda machine will smear anyone who dares to run with a D next to their name. You might as well own it and embrace the positions your voters want.

  • Yeah, the headline is true but wages need to rise to do anything about it, short of UBI which I personally think is unlikely in the US. I think we obviously need a new minimum wage that a person can actually live on, but I would take it a step further. I think it should be tied to market cap. In other words, the bigger the corporation, the higher their minimum wage bracket becomes. This would give some advantage to small, community owned businesses too.
