I think people like him are so addicted to power and wealth, that I wouldn't be surprised he would off himself if net worth would drop to millions.
Though with that much of wealth, I think no matter what he will do he will be a billionaire.
If we ever restore democracy, we need to concentrate on destroying oligarchies, apparently this already happened twice.
Hope so too, unfortunately SpaceX apparently is worth even more and we don't have as much influence in their revenue.

My response basically was that Republicans are already shutting the government, and if they wanted a total shutdown they wouldn't present any bill.
There was a clean CR bill to fund government for a month they could pass it and negotiate a proper bill.
If they would shut down, like in 2019 it would be on trump as he is in the office, and back then it took almost 30 days before Republicans caved. Shutdown would motivate more people going out on the streets IMO.
Now after Schummer and 9 other voted they codified the changes and even courts won't be able to block those.
Fuck trump, he made world less safe in so many ways and now in addition to threatening Canada and Greenland he appears to be planning to stay a war with Iran.
