Because the files are already with the courts, which means they have multiple copies and are distributed amongst enough people that would put up a hell storm if he tried to alter or destroy them at this point.
I also hate it when changes to the game ruin it. Every time I have seen this happen there were changes to the game for the worse that are easy to confirm by looking at where the decline starts and checking out reviews shortly after.

If they can change their EULA at any time without consent for something you already purchased that should enable the option for a full refund if declined.
Generally it is a reaction to having the popular stuff forced into their spaces. Pop music like Coldplay makes its way into movies, shows, and store music so it is always there to cause annoyance.
Like I hate Jared fucking Leto because he keeps getting into movies I would otherwise want to enjoy. If he was only in movies I don't want to watch then I wouldn't think of him at all, like the other actors and actresses that don't ever think about.
