Trying to deport nearly half the population of the US would require it to be voluntary, and that isn't going to happen. The sectors that would enforce it already include a lot of non-whites who are complicit because they personally are not being deported. People, especially the non-whites whose families have been in the US from before the US acquired their land from Mexico, would absolutely resist. The non-white population is oppressed, sure, but not to the extent of non-white populations in other colonial locations where a few whites are able to enforce racist laws through violence.
If attempted at the federal level it would implode immediately as multiple states would violently resist due to scale.

It is funny because Vyvanse gave me weird side effects without any benefit (too long ago to remember) while the ER methylphenidate had a progressively more effective benefit with zero side effects for me as the dosage went up to the one I settled on. Been taking it for years and have to justify to insurance once a year that no, I don't want to try the ones that didn't work just let me stay on this.
I am on the extended release (ER) for methylphenidate on a high dose for like 20 years and for me it lets me focus while it is working.
Sustained release (SR) does not work nearly as well for me. Standard release wears off way too fast.
People have very different rates of success or side effects so yes, it really could be that different! It sounds like this isn't the right one for your kiddo.

I know for a fact that I am completely comfortable with low double digits and the numbers really aren't that important. I'm not a high scorer by any means, but never really thought about the numbers. Can't remember ever asking for a count.
Romantic generally involves a lot of physical contact associated with romance, like holding hands, cuddling, kissing, etc. There are romantic overtures, like going on dates as a couple that often have that contact or at least the potential for it. Basically behaviors that people consider to be things people in relationships tend to do.
Platonic may have some physical contact, but it is more limited and tends to not have the sexual overtones. Friends who are girls may hold hands, but not do the other things like kiss and cuddle. They might go out as a pair, but without any sexual attention. Guys can also hold hands, but in some cultures it is seen as romantic for men but not women and yes that is a double standard.
Honestly it comes down to behaviors commonly seen as romantic or platonic when observed from outside and it is based on intent by the participants. Hugs, they can be friendly, romantic, or cold and done out of obligation and can be intended or seen different ways depending on context. Same with closed mouth kissing.
But that is focused on behaviors. Platonic relationships don't have the same kind of romantic feelings, which are also context dependent.
